Which one should I choose?
When selecting a smart-phone for
yourself, you're forced to pick between 2 ultimate competitors, Android and iPhone. Both brands are
dominating the current market share. So, which one is the best option to
choose, Android or iPhone? Well the
answer is - they both are having very nice operating systems, it comes down to
your specific requirements.
If you ever wanted a phone which can be in your total control, then Android suits your need. Compared to iPhone, you can play variety of media file types whichever you want to. You're not bound to use a specific file type (mp4) like with Apple products. You have freedom to download whatever application for your phone that you want. However, with the iPhone you're limited to use the apps which are passed a rigorous filtering process.
If you are absolutely a new to smartphones or tablets, ease of use is
an important consideration in choosing what's right for you. I have got a lot
of experience with both Android phones as well as iPhones. According to my
experience, I think that iOS is slightly easier to use. Its GUI is
self-explanatory and somewhat easier to navigate. If you open any application, you
can see that there are back buttons, menu buttons, and a close button. With the
Android phone, navigation between the apps is a bit more confusing.
If you think that the apps are your
concern, they shouldn't be. For many years the Android definitely copied Apple
in the apps department. There had been a distinct advantage of iPhones when it
came to number of apps. However, with the increase in the number of mobile phone
users and hence developers, popular apps and games are readily made available
for almost anything you want.
